Minesweeper Leaves for Lithuania

On Friday 22nd August the Hunt-class minecountermeausures vessel formerly HMS Quorn -now renamed Sūduvis- was towed from the Appledore shipyard, bound for Klaipėda, Lithuania.

Unfortunately, amid the collapse of Harland & Wolff -and the subsequent takeover by Navantia- this contract was cut.

Despite the challenging wider political environment, on the ground CCP Gransden's teams successfully delivered all the GRP repairs and upgrades requested by the MOD (Ministry of Defence) / DESA (Defence Equipment Sales Authority).

Working aboard the vessel and to approved Defence Standards. More here.

Tangible and sizeable work was delivered across the vessel.
