Composites
We have been fabricating using composite materials, GRP –
glass reinforced plastic (fibreglass), FRC – fibre reinforced
composites for 40 years. During this time we have fabricated
a wide variety of articles using glassfibre, carbon fibre and
aramid (Kevlar) reinforcements with polyester and vinyl ester
epoxy resins, mostly for the corrosion resistant market, but
also where composites make a suitable and cost effective alternative
to other “traditional” engineering materials.
Where existing equipment is corroded or damaged we can carry
out repairs on-site, or in our workshop using composite materials.
This often makes a cost effective and timley alternative to replacement.
