CCP Gransden is based in Ballygowan, about 10 miles to the south
of Belfast in Northern Ireland.
CCP Gransden is an independent family owned
and run company, which can trace its history back to 1894.
With its roots in ship repairing, the company diversified
during the 1950’s and 60’s and Corrosion Control
Plastics (C.C.P.) was formed in 1965. It started manufacturing
corrosion resistant pipework, ductwork and specialist chemical
plant and equipment in thermoplastics and glass fibre (GRP)
and for the chemical and man made textiles industries in
Ireland. |

In 1982 the company bought Gransden (Bi-Chem) Ltd.. Gransden
(Bi-Chem) was the distributor in Northern Ireland for Allied
Colloids. Originally a textile chemical manufacturing company,
Allied Colloids had grown to a multinational speciality chemical
company producing a wide range of products for a variety of industries
including textiles, paper, water and sewage, mineral extraction
and agriculture. Allied Colloids was taken over by Ciba Speciality
Chemicals (formerly Ciba Geigy) in the late 1990’s.
In 1999 CCP Gransden (Bi-Chem) took over Hamilton Berry Ltd.,
our sister company which represented a variety of manufacturers
in Northern Ireland and also manufactured a range of janitorial
and handcare products.
Now known as CCP Gransden Ltd., we continue to manufacture
in thermoplastics and composites and to represent Ciba Speciality
Chemicals in Northern Ireland.
We continue to manufacture the Sprucecleen®, Regular One®
and Odormatic® range of janitorial products and have added
various related products to our range.
